Before a form, there is a material. A length of fiber, a piece of wood, a stone with a particular color. Our first collection starts with these small observations.
We are drawn to wool for its tactile warmth, wood for its grain and silver for the way it changes in the light. These are design interests, not claims that every material comes from the same place or is worked in the same way.
The next step is documentation. Our future material notes will identify sources, composition, treatments and the makers who turn raw elements into finished objects. Beauty and clarity should belong together.
